VACATION!
LESSONS FOR SUCCESS
Recently, after being all cooped up for what felt like an eternity. I spent some much need R & R time with a small group of close friends. Here are a few lessons for success I learned on vacation!

Build a Support Network

Stop
multi-tasking

Plan ahead

Try new things

Build a Support Network
It’s essential to have a great support network. We all have many time-consuming tasks on our plate. Reach out to your support network for help and the encouragement you need to move forward.

Stop multi-tasking/ Focus on one thing at a time
How about a long walk on the beach? We have so much going on in our heads it’s hard not to multi-task. Focus on one task until it’s completed. You will be surprised how accomplished you feel!

Make time
to rest &
Re-energize
It’s essential to have a great support network. We all have many time-consuming tasks on our plate. Reach out to your support network for help and the encouragement you need to move forward.

Learn / Experiment / Try new things
You don’t know what you don’t know! Try one new thing in the next 6 weeks. A new food, style, hair color, you name it. Step out of your comfort zone and try something you have never done before. You never know what you could be missing out on, and you just might like it!

Delegate/ Plan ahead
Delegating the smallest of tasks can help create work-life balance and planning reduces stress, so you can enjoy whatever you’re doing. Delegate whenever possible! You’ll be teaching your team new skills, building confidence, and empowering them by sharing the responsibility for lifting the load. I call it a win-win!

Take charge of your future
With all that has been going on lately, I have realized that life is short and things change daily. We are not guaranteed tomorrow. Take charge today to make changes to get to where you want to go! Think about what you want and just go for it! Stop waiting for tomorrow. Take one tiny step today to keep you moving in the right direction.
